Champ is “the one”. The one who sticks in your mind long after his family of 11 years drives away and leaves him behind.
Long after he curled up in the back seat of your car, unsure of what his future had in store. Champ is “the one” who will stay
in your mind and your heart forever. He came to us last year at 11 years old. We weren’t sure what we were going to do
with a senior boxer boy, but thankfully, a wonderful family stepped up and offered to take him in as a foster. He’s been with
them ever since and he is loved more than we could have ever hoped for. Champ is as handsome as they come and he’s a gentleman
for sure.
On Tuesday, Champ experienced a medical emergency known as Bloat. He was taken, by his foster mom, to the
vet where he received the best care possible. Thanks to lots of prayers and well wishes, Champ has pulled through and is recovering.
At this time, he’s being monitored closely and his pain is being managed.
As a rescue, it is our duty to ensure that all
of our boxers receive the care, medically and emotionally, that they need. That duty can sometimes come at a price. Champ’s
surgery will cost our rescue $3,500.00. We often ask our friends for prayers, happy thoughts, and for help in fostering or adopting.
Today, we are asking you for your help in defraying some of the cost of Champ’s surgery. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit
organization and your donation would be greatly appreciated by all of us here at The Boxer Rescue.
A Heartfelt Thank You to Champs Angel's!
