Baby
Adopted

Baby is doing great.  She is home recovering from a recent surgery which she had a few tumors removed.   She has really become part of our family and she gets along great with our resident boy, Diesel.  We are happy to have her as part of our family.

Baby is a sweetheart; I have only good things to say about her! She has met many people, old and young (my niece is 3), and has been great with all! She is a good watch dog, and wants to protect the front door, and once the person is in the house, she lets them know she wants them to say hello, she is very vocal about this! She has settled into a routine very easily, and if I sleep a little late on the weekend, she wakes up Diesel, and they let me know it’s time to get up!

When she goes out in the backyard to do her business, she is no nonsense and comes RIGHT to the door when she is done, especially if it’s cold.  When she and Diesel go out to play, unless of course it’s too cold, she runs circles around the yard , getting plenty of exercise, and keeping up with Diesel no problem, but she knows when she's had enough and comes in for a drink and a rest.  We haven't had much leash time with this horrendous weather, but the few times she's been on the leash she has done very well and appears to be used to the commands "heel, stop, sit, etc".  The vet experience was a little different, but even then I think she did great, considering there was a cat there.   She has a very healthy appetite and enjoys her food, and has already learned that if Diesel doesn't finish right away, she can't finish for him, although we have to keep an eye out to make sure we put it away, just in case.
