Jamie-Oliver is settling in nicely! We have taken him to the dog park and he LOVED it. He ran, jumped,
and had a blast! It was really fun to see him enjoy himself so much. Everything has been fine since our wellness checkup with the
vet. We are signed up for Beginners Obedience - Level 1 and than most likely we will do level 2 after this. Jamie-Oliver comes to work with me daily and is the best greeter. He and I have started off well and I believe after the training
classes, will bond us even more.
Jamie-Oliver arrived in his more norther New England Home on Saturday
the 14th of January. While he slept for much of the ride home, he seemed to be very comfortable with his new human early on. Jamie-Oliver seemed very surprised to see snow on the ground and took a little bit to get used to cold white stuff under his paws. Nonetheless, throw a coat on Jamie-Oliver and he is very happy to walk and play in the colder weather, the coat is crucial though.
While his eating and bathroom schedule was a little "off" from what the foster home told us to expect, Jamie-Oliver soon realized
there was no need to be nervous and in less than a week is already back on schedule. Jamie-Oliver is playful and he is always
checking on everyone and everything - he is the most curious doggy in the world. Given the proper supervision and some good
toys to keep him busy, Jamie-Oliver stays out of trouble, so far at least.
Jamie-Oliver comes to work with me everyday
and he is thrilled to have his own job. He greets guests, checks on everyone throughout the office, and never leaves my side
for more than a minute or two. This beautiful boy seems to be settling in exceptionally well to his new life.
He is gentle,
loving, and honestly the best dog I could have asked for!

Jamie is a very sweet, energetic and playful Boxer boy. He wants to play..play..play...play. Jamie does well with some dogs, but will need to be introduced slowly and will need more socialization. Jamie is a very young Boxer, along with needing obdience training, Jamie has a tendency to play a little ruff with humans, so he will need to be taught some manners as well. Because of Jamie's curiosity and his tendency to be mischievous, he is not given free roam in the house, he is crated for a few hours when left alone and does fine in his crate with a treat or a kong, no whining or fussing. Over all, Jamie is a doll and will make some lucky family a great companion.
