Tyson is a GORGEOUS boy that is coming into the program as his current owners are unable to care for him.  We are told that he is approximatley 3-4 years old.    Tyson currently lives with a 7 year old child, whom he adores and he lives with another male Boxer that he gets along with great.  Tyson is a pretty laid back boy; a gentle giant!  he loves people and is overall one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet!  He knows his basic commands and is crate trained, but he is completely fine with free roam of the house as well.  Tyson is need of Medical attention.  He will need ACL surgery performed immediately, so we will be looking for a home where he can get the love and care he will need while recovering from his surgery.  Please check back for updates as we secure a foster home for this handsome boy.

 (ACL) Anterior Cruciate Ligament ACL surgery in dogs is a commonly done surgical procedure in veterinary practice. When the anterior cruciate ligament is torn or stretched, instead of moving like a hinge, the knee joint will actually make a sliding motion. This abnormal motion and instability creates trauma within the joint that leads to wearing of cartilage, increased synovial fluid production and inflammation. Tyson’s medical bills are expected to be in excess of $2,000.00.  Any donation you can make towards his surgery would be greatly appreciated!  The recovery process is approximately 6-8 weeks and then physical therapy will be needed.
