Annie is doing great! She is definitely a playful girl and sometimes gets carried away with the nipping while playing but that has actually gotten better this week as we've been correcting her when she does it, so she's starting to learn "no bite". We honestly just love her so much and I think she feels the same about us. She's so good on her walks and she LOVES my sisters dog. They fly around the yard together and really tucker each other out. The kids love to come home to her and play and the just think she's a complete riot, chasing her tail or the goofy look she gives when she has the ball in her mouth waiting to play. Annie still goes in their rooms every night to peek in on them and she wakes me up every morning with a nuzzle to my ear and a paw on my chest! All and all....it has been great and her personality has made this a lot easier than I expected. Annie is a great dog! We just LOVE her!

Roxy (we are calling her Annie now) is doing great! She is definitely settling in and we
all just love her. I've crated her twice, once today and once yesterday, while I had to run out to do errand for about an hour
each and filled her toy up w/ treats each time. She seemed to be fine although I did hear a little whimper when I left this
morning. Other than that, she is with us hanging out and making her walks to the bus stop (which she loves) and out for her
normal walks! I swung by my mom's house on a walk with her yesterday because she has a fenced in yard and she spazzed out beyond
belief...running around crazy with a toy! Annie makes sure to check each child in their bedrooms before they go to sleep (probably
in hopes to score a bed!) but it truly is adorable. She is just a love!

Meet our newest addition, Roxy. Roxy is a happy and sweet 1 year
old Boxer. Roxy is coming into the program as her current owners do not have enough time to spend with
her. She knows some basic commands and is crate trained. Roxy does pretty good walking on a leash but could use some more training.
Roxy has been to doggie day care in the past and LOVES all dogs and LOVES to play. She’s also living with
a 2 year old child who she is very sweet and gentle with. As a typical Boxer puppy, Roxy can be a little mischievous
and will need some limitations and boundaries in her new home. She has been known to jump up on the counter to see if
there is anything on it for her! As a young Boxer, Roxy will need a home where someone is home more often than not
and a family that is willing to bring her to training. Roxy would do well with a canine companion to play with and
a family that has an active lifestyle, so she can get the exercise a young Boxer needs. Please check back for updates
as we secure a foster home for this BEAUTIFUL girl and get to know her a little better.
