Hi everyone Petey is in his forever home. He is on a set schedule with eating, walking and sleeping. He is a little sneak though, at night after we fall asleep he sneaks into our bed and we wake up hanging off the edges with a doggie stretched out in the middle of us lol. He is a good boy and we love him so much. Petey is a typical boxer silly, energetic and a whiner. Thank you so much TBRI for bringing him into our lives.

Petey has been with us for a little over a month now and is getting more comfortable everyday. He still has kept his good manners but he does try to whine and get his own way. He is a little reacitve on walks when he sees other dogs but I just keep his attention towards me and he is fine. We will be working on getting him more socialized. He will be attending obidence training class in November so we will keep you posted on how he does. He has had a few sleep overs with my 13 yr old neice and they are best friends now. Overall he is a very lovable and sweet boy.

Petey is settling in nicely. He is such a sweet boy! My 13 year old niece came over to spend time with him as she has been dying to meet him. Well they fell in love with each other, he is so sweet with her he couldn't give her enough kisses and just laid and watched tv with her after we all played ball with him in the yard. He was loving her chasing him around then he would chase her around it was really cute. He is truly a love bug.

Meet Petey! This
adorable 5 year old male Boxer is coming into the program as his current family works long hours and does not have enough time to
spend with him. Petey is full of wiggles, but is gentle when you meet him. He currently lives with a 6 year old and is
wonderful with her. Petey walks well on leash, however he tends to get very excited when he sees other dogs. Petey is also known
to “bark” at his owners for attention. He knows his basic commands, but could definitely use a refresher course. His new home
will need to take him to basic obedience classes and work with him in a positive way to teach him proper manners and behaviors. Petey
has lived with another dog in his prior home over a year ago, but has not since. He comes on strong and bouncy when he
greets other dogs, but seems to calm down after awhile. Petey will need someone willing to work on socializing him and teaching
him proper introductions with other dogs. Because of this, we will be placing Petey in home as an only dog so that he can get
the attention and training that he needs. Petey is crate trained, but is not destructive if left out alone. Please
check back soon for updates as we secure a foster home for this handsome boy!
