The boys are doing great. They have both come so far since the day they arrived. Brody has learned sit, lay down and drop it. He is a fast learner if you take the time to work with him. My daughter has made it in to play time. they are both so great with her. They are also making small steps everyday with leash walking. With the harnesses they are much better but without them they will pull. We also have been walking them in the park so they can get more exposed to people being around them without barking at them. They are doing so much better with that. Wallace is working very hard on proper greetings. He has aggression toward people coming and leaving the house. We are working with him and are coming up with a training game plan. They are both house broken for the most part but still have accidents especially when they are home alone. We have began crating them because of this and Brody will pull out the garbage and place it piece by piece through out the house. Using the crates was difficult at first but they are becoming comfortable with it now. Wallace sometimes is my little Houdini! We have had to tape and reinforce his crate several times. Even tonight I came back from a trip to the store to Wallace very excited looking out the window at me as I pulled in. Im not sure how he did it this time. He is so smart, they both are. They just want to be right there with you all the time. They think theyare lap dogs. They love nothing better then sitting right on top of you in front of the fire place and cuddling. They are also never far from one another. Where there is Wallace there is Brody following one step behind. They are couch hogs. They are not comfortable unless 3/4 of their body is on you. In the morning I call them my little heaters. They crawl up under the covers and lay as close to you as possible. One will lay down and the other will come lay down next to him. He will lay his head on the others back and sleep like that. They are brothers. The only thing they love more then bully sticks, and their people, is each other.

Brody and Wallace are extremley bonded. They love going up the trails. we had our first encounter with another dog. infact two. they were not leashed, the two other dogs. I was a little nervous because I wasn't sure how they would react. They were great even though the other dogs were barking and acting a little hyper.Wallace is still being aggressive with new people who come to the house. he settles down then when the people leave he starts up again. not with all people, only men. and not with all men, but most of them. he is wonderful with girls and children. We are still working on that and will continue to make meetings positive for him. Brody is so laid back. I know we were told that brody is the alpha dog, but I really don't think so. Brody is very gentle with everyone even when playing with Wallace. Wallace is more dominant with brody. He is always trying to get brody to play harder, he jumps on him and pins him down. Brody just lets him do it. he steals brodys toys and treats. we have to get them back for him. Brody is just OK with everything and he has also learned SIT. He is doing great with listening. he is just a lover. and so is Wallace. Wallice is just over protective and really needs work with proper greetings. He's protective outside away from the house and out of the car he doesn't bark, growl or act aggressive at all. It's in the house or the car he shows protectiveness. I don't think he would ever bite anyone but he scares them. They are both good dogs. they have big kisses and so much love. They are active, love car rides,walks, love exploring the woods,playing fetch, following you everywhere you go, and they love playing with each other. They also love just as much cuddling up and watching a movie with their people. These two boys will make someone very happy!

Brody and Wallace have arrived at their foster home yesterday. They are doing wonderful. They settled down really quickly after they arrived. They were very curious, checking
out everything they could and after a few hours they calmed down. They have been great with my daughter, so I believe they have probably
been around children. They are so cute! the tip of wallace's tongue sticks out the side of his mouth all the time, and it's the cutest
thing! we took them for several walks and they were really pulling when we walked, but it's no wonder as they had been in a
shelter environment for months. We purchased the easy walk harnesses for them and it's amazing how well they work. Wallace seems
to be much more trained. He is a good listener, but he does seem to follow Brody. Brody has probably never been worked with
with anything, even "sit". He does however seem to understand "no"…sometimes. After they settle in we will start
working on some basic things with him. They are both very gentle and sweet. Please check back soon for updates as we get
to know these handsome boys. Brody and Wallace are extremely bonded so we will be looking to place them as a "pair".
Meet Brody! This handsome boy is being surrendered to rescue as his owners home circumstances have changed and
they can no longer care for him. He is coming in to the program with another male Boxer he lived with “Wallace”.
We do not know much about Brody or Wallace or how long they lived together. The vet believes Brody to be approximately 4-5 years
old. They did live with other dogs in their previous home. They are currently in a shelter environment and are not doing
well, so we are desperately looking for foster homes for these babies. We know they are not good with cats or smaller dogs.
We are unsure how they are around children, so we will not be placing them in a home with small children. They are stressed
and nervous in the shelter environment, but are wonderful outside the kennel. They are said to be very sweet and gentle.
They are both overweight and will need to lose a few pounds. We believe they were never walked or exercised properly, so they
are NOT good on walks. Their new home will need to work with them on leash walking and get them on a healthy diet. Their new
home will also need to attend a basic obedience training class with them. Brody is the younger of the two. He has pretty
good energy, but, his weight can slow him down. He is very friendly, but pushy. He has a little impulse to try to jump
up, so that will need to be worked with as well. He is really friendly and confident. Out of the two, Brody is the
more dominant one and we believe he will try to be the leader with any other resident dogs. Please check back soon
