Jetta has been with us now for two weeks and is settling in nicely. She is beginning to explore and making friends with our resident boxer (Oscar). There have been no signs of food aggression or dominance and our resident boxer has been very good with her. Jetta has been doing great with basic commands although she has charged the fence at passerby’s (been working on that to try and curb that behavior by re-directing her and it’s been working so far). Her personality is starting to come out and she loves to snuggle with you on the sofa and watch TV –she especially enjoys watching the soap’s. Jetta is still learning how to walk on leash and in just two short weeks has made enormous progress. She loves her crate especially if there are treats involved and she has gained one pound (but she tells me that she wants to stay a size two). Her surgery went well and her progress is phenomenal-it’s been a week and already she wants to  jump and run around. Her energy level is definitely unparalleled to our resident boxer. She is a definite joy and a special girl with lots of love to give!!!
