Meet Ruger!  Ruger is a gorgeous 6 year old fawn male that is coming into the program as his current family does not have enough to walk him and give him the time and attention he needs.   Ruger is a curious boy who likes to play.  He knows all his basic commands and knows how to “wipe his fee” at the door.  He’s a happy boy who loves female dogs.  He can be a little standoffish with some male dogs, not all but some.

Ruger is not destructive if left alone in the house. He really does not like his crate.   He was originally from a home that crated him 12 hours a day so he’ll need some crate training if the new home plans on using one.  Since he’s 6 years old and not destructive, it may be that he doesn’t need to be crated.

Ruger has been living with an invisible fence which has caused him some issues.  He’s a little reactive on leash when walking so his new home will need to work with him on that.    He is however a handsome typical goofy Boxer who loves Kids!!   He has not been around cats so we will be looking to place him in a home with no cats.
