My name is BRUSCHI, but you can call me Dreamboat. I'm 4.5 years old and I need a new home without small children or any other pets. I am super duper smart and know many commands. I met the rescue's evaluator last night and she couldn't get over how well mannered I was. I also gave her gentle kisses just for good measure. I'm not destructive when left home alone, so you don't have to worry about your couch becoming a boxer snack. I love going for walks, but you must know that I can be reactive towards other dogs... not ALL, but some, so my home will need to work with my reactivity out and about.   You see, I have been attacked twice in my life, so my abilty to trust other dogs has gone out the window. My current owners have been working with me on this and there has been some improvement. I'd love someone to continue to work with me on this. Right now, I'm scared even in my own backyard, since that is where one of the attacks occured. I never fought back... I just waited for the humans to help me.    If you have small kiddos, I am not a good fit for you. An adult only home or a home with older teens would be ok.   I would love a family that has lived with my breed before, a home that has the time and patients to work with me on some of my reactivity issues.   I promise, I won't let you down!  If you are interested in me, please contact the rescue at info@theboxerrescue.
