Meet Lincoln a sweet 11 month old Boxer boy who is up to date on vaccinations and neutered.   Unfortunately Lincoln’s owner has a medical problem that’s prevented him from giving Lincoln the exercise and training a young Boxer boy needs.  Lincoln is a typical, hyper, jumpy adolescent Boxer boy who has   not been walked on a leash much at all  and is a PULLER so he’ll DEFINITELY need help with this.    He’s never been to training so we’ll require a basic training class for this young boy to learn basic manners.   Lincoln has not been socialized with any dogs however he has seen dogs through the fence in his yard and seems to be excited.   We do think that Lincoln may NOT like smaller dogs so no small dogs or CATS for this boy.    He has been to the vet where there have been other dogs around and has been fine, he just seems excited when seeing a dog.   At this time, we are going to place Lincoln as an only dog.

Lincoln is also a Jumper so NO small kids for him.   We’ll only place him with kids 13+.   Lincoln has a lot of pent up energy and we believe that once he gets into an active home where he can get several walks a day and lots of play time and mental exercise he will be a great companion.  Lincoln was crate trained as a puppy but did sometimes bite at the wire crate so he’s currently confined, when left alone, in a smaller area with a baby gate, and has no issue with that, but he is not left alone often, so he will require a family that is home more often than not.

Lincoln arrived at his home and is settling in nicely.  He loves his new yard and new toys!
