Bosco is doing great and settling in with his foster home. He's a big boy and is still very much a puppy - jumping and nipping. His foster home is working with a trainer to help with manners and basic skills. Bosco will be getting nuetered the first week of January. Please check back for updates as we get to know his handsome boy a little better.

Meet Bosco, This handsome boy is coming into rescue because his family does not have the time to spend with him. He is a 1 year old boy that is still very much a puppy. He did attend a puppy class when he was a baby, but he will need a basic obedience class with his new family. He is HIGH ENERGY and unfortunately is being crated most of the day and night due to a baby in the home. He is very sweet with the child, but he is like a freight train with a lot of speed. He is use to a fenced in yard, so we will be looking for a home with a fence. He is currently not getting much exercise or being walked, as he loves to pull. His new home will need to work on loose leash walking and basic manners with him. He will jump on people to say hello and he is still a bit of a nipper, so that will need to be worked with as well.

Bosco’s new home should be a family that has lived with the breed and knows how much exercise they need. He would do best with an active family, a family that has the time to help him burn some of his pent up energy. He is a very sweet, goofy boy and will make a wonderful campion to the right home. He is house broken and crate trained, but he still cannot have a crate pad in his crate, as he will chew it. If left out alone out of the crate, he will be destructive, so his new home should continue with the crate training while they are not present. He currently lives with 4 children, but due to his energy level, he will need a home with children 12+ or no kids. He does live with a cat and will chase it, so we don’t think it is a good idea for Bosco to live with a kitty. He has not been around a lot of other dogs, but doesn’t seem at all phased by them. We will consider placing him with a sweet female. Bosco is up to date on all vaccinations and is still intact. The rescue will have him neutered once he settles in with his new family. If you are interested in this sweet boy, please fill out an adoption application on our website.
