Meet Diamond.  We need an EMERGENCY foster home for this sweet, 8 year old girl named Diamond. Her owner couldn’t afford to get her food or medical attention and she was surrendered to Animal Control over the weekend. She’s being checked out tomorrow by the vet and will be vaccinated. We need to get her out of the kennel. She’s sweet with people, walked by several dogs with no issues at all and wagged her tail in the cat room (even at a cat that was hissing at her).

We’d like to place her in a home with NO dogs, but we may consider a home with a MALE dog. We are reluctant to place her with another dog because WHAT IF things don't go well? Then what? We have to move her and it's 100% not fair for her to be uprooted again. She's an older girl and has had enough displacement in her life.

Diamond may have a UTI (she’s drinking a lot and peeing a lot in the kennel) or have a bladder infection or some other issue. We will have her checked out. She’s been super sweet with all people so older kids should be fine. PLEASE, if you can help, contact us at foster@theboxerrescue.org or info@theboxerrescue.org.  The Boxer Rescue will take care of ALL of her medical needs/expenses. We just need a family to love her.
