Hi my name is Arya, I am a gorgeous 2.5 y/o girl that is having a hard time in my current home. I currently live with 3 other dogs and Iím not a fan of my roommates. I have gotten into a few fights with one of them, and I was told that I initiated both scuffles, so I really need to be an only girl. I am a nervous nellie and need a person that is experienced and willing to take the time to work with me, along with a trainer that we can establish a great relationship with to help me navigate in my new home. I am not very trusting of people upfront, so I need to take things VERY SLOW when meeting new people. I lived in Maine on a lot of land for a year and was recently relocated with my family to a smaller area with more traffic, noises, etc., things I am not use to and will need help with, so I can feel secure and confident. I have a tendency to guard my human so my new family or person, will need to work with me on this as well. I have not been socialized much out and about in the environment, so my new home will need to take everything slow and introduce things to me in a positive manner. I would love a fenced in yard in my new home. My new home should be in a quieter area because I am not a city gal! Iíve never been around smaller children, older children 16+ might be okay, but I would prefer an adult home only. I am crate trained, but would prefer a home where someone is home more often than not. Once you get to know me, I am a love muffin! The rescue is trying hard to help my mom find the right home for me, so please, serious inquiries only. I know Iím gorgeous, but I REALLY DO need the right home. I need a previous Boxer owner, savvier dog handler, one that is familiar with training and working with a ďNervous NellieĒ. If you think you might be that person or family, please contact the rescue at info@theboxerrescue.org.
