Maya-2 was brought into the shelter after being bred a few times, and when she struggled to housebreak, her owners decided they didn't want her anymore. So, here she sits, afraid of the world and wondering what has happened. Maya is shutting down with each passing moment, so we want to get her out as soon as possible. She can be placed with a sweet male dog, but no cats and she needs someone committed to her, forever. She can't be discarded again. Her heart cannot be broken again. Maya wants a patient family. One who will allow her the time she needs to feel safe and comfortable. Right now, it's scary for her to even walk through a doorway. Imagine what life must have been like to be afraid to walk through a door??!!! She's just a baby at 3 years old, so she's got so much life ahead of her. It's time for her new beginning and her happily ever after. She will be brought up to date on vaccines and spayed as well.
