Bam Bam arrived at this foster home and settling in nicely. He LOVES to go for long walks. His foster parents are taking things slow with him and allowing him the time he needs to decompress from the shelter. Stay tuned as we get to know this handsome boy a little better.

Meet Bam Bam! This GORGEOUS boy is coming into the program as he was surrendered by his family to a shelter because his home did not have the time to give him. He came from a busy family with 4 children and Bam Bam was not getting the attention he needed. He is 5 years old and needs out of the shelter environment as soon as possible, so we can get to know him better. He is a bit nervous with new people, but does warm up quickly. His new foster home will need to take things slow with him and give him the appropriate amount of time to decompress. He seems to be eager to meet other dogs in the shelter, but has not lived with another dog, so for this reason we would like to place him as an only in a foster home so we can get to know him a little better. He really has not been socialized much with people or other dogs, so meeting new people will need to be done slow and positively. He did wonderful with the children in his home, but due to his size and age, we will be looking to place him with no children or older children 16+. He has not been around cats, so no Kitties for this boy! Upon our volunteers evaluation, she found Bam Bam to be a very sweet boy! He has very nice manners and did not jump on her or get overly excited. He walked pretty well on leash but will need work in that department. He took treats from our volunteer gently and loved the attention and being petted. He has not been crated for the past five years and was not destructive, but his new home may need to introduce the crate to him in a positive manner. He is ABSOULTLEY GORGEOUS and would love a family that has the time and patience to help him decompress and become a little more confident with people and his surroundings.
