Meet Bodie!  This handsome boy is 3 years old and coming back into the program because a family member has become allergic to him, and they are currently separating him from the family member.   Bodie does have a mix in him and he is as sweet as they come!  He has a natural tail, so his wiggles are as cute as can be!  He is currently living with children ages 5 and 9.  We are told he is very protective of them, so we will be placing him in a home with children 12+ or no children.  He also lives with a female Pomeranian, but is very pushy with her over attention.  Bodie is crate trained and has attended two obedience classes as a puppy but he will need  a refresher class with his new home for bonding purposes.  He LOVES to play and does well with other dogs, but can get overly excited when playing, so his new family will need to monitor his play.    Bodie is used to a fenced in yard and would love an active family, so he can get the physical and mental exercise a young boy needs.   He is a true cuddle bug and loves to be with his humans.  He can get anxious on car rides, so his new family will need to work with him on that  (short, positive rides in the beginning) to get him comfortable in the car.   If you are interested in Bodie, please fill out an adoption application, or email us at info@theboxerrescue.org
